As far as I can see setting the tape type to continuous does not do anything.
If you use the "normal" form feed, it just goes off searching for a gap about 12" (30 cm) then gives up.
You can use the manual 1b 4a 50 (10 mm) form feed, it works fine, but you will get an 0xaa instead of an "OK" after the close and the printing.
If you give it no form feed it prints fine with consecutive labels with a small gap, but still an 0xaa.
Don't even try to use the built-in cutter on continuous tape, use scissors.
My $0.02: buy some 15 x 50 mm gapped stickers.
