after requesting some DOUGH i had two people sponsor my request - this mean there are two votes running simultaneously. - i think once one sponsor triggers a vote, no one else should be able to

I agree, we had wanted to provide more granularity in the the token request app based on the results of the active vote, it proved to be rather difficult because the client assumes each app is sandboxed and modular, but with Aragon connect we can create a more specific interface that makes assumptions about the permissions and workflow and resolve this. Im not sure exactly when we will be able to tackle that, but looking forward to the possibility as it would be a significant improvement to UX.

Its worth noting that despite the UX issue, its not possible for the request to be processed twice, the first vote to approve it will update the request state and any subsequent approvals wouldn't execute.
