Add browser Extension

This extension would allow users to access key features of the website directly from their browser toolbar. With this user engagement and convenience will increase.
Please assign me this issue @ManavSarkar as I have proper knowledge of React and have done this before in my project so can easily do it.

I’d love to work on this issue and build the browser extension for Perspective-AI.
The idea is to let users analyze any article or webpage directly from their browser and instantly view counter-perspectives — without needing to open the main web app.

Here’s my plan in short:

• Create a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that can later be adapted for Firefox or Edge.
• Build a clean popup UI using React + Tailwind, matching Perspective’s design.
• Use a content script to extract the text of the active webpage and send it to the backend for analysis via the /analyze API endpoint.
• Display the AI-generated counter-perspective right inside the popup in real time.
• Optionally, add a right-click “Analyze with Perspective” menu option for convenience.

I’ll first test it locally with the FastAPI backend (http://localhost:8000) and then integrate it with the deployed version.
Once the basic MVP works smoothly, I can add features like storing analysis history, multilingual support, and login-based personalization.

I’ve gone through the project structure and understand how the current frontend-backend flow works, so I’m confident about implementing this extension efficiently.
