Randomized evolutions not working on current build

So I just got a shiny squritle on my run in the underground, and it evolved into a Wartortle, so I'm assuming evolution randomization doesn't quite work yet.

Are you using any other mods

Yeah, 60 FPS and True Size, that's it.

Does 60fps or true size disable the evolution randomizer setting?

Ok I can confirm with 100% certainty that randomized evolutions don't work at all. I just made a new seed with no mods enabled just as a test and the evolutions are still vanilla.

Any reason why the evolutions aren't working? I just want to know if it's even possible on the current build.

Did the most recent update fix evolutions or just add Shining Pearl support?
