Toonily.me does not load certain pages

Issue:

• Source does not fully load certain pages from entry; stuck at a loading icon but no progress actually starts
• Behavior most obvious if user downloads a whole chapter and opens it
• Pages when opened via browser are loaded and displayed normally

could you provide an example series where pages do not load, or is it happening to every series for you? I have not been able to reproduce.

These are the lists of series so far that I encounter this issue most often, I'll add some chapters so you can directly check if they are replicable:

• Seniors of Class 5 raw (Ch 141-143)
• Secret Class (Ch 305)
• MILF exchange (Ch 64-69)

To expound on the issue, some pages look like this on the app. There is a noticeable gap, that no longer loads the image even after some time.

Observing the web version, I noticed the corresponding image on the app take a noticeable longer time to load than the others. It will load eventually on web, but the app does not load again or give option for retry.

As mentioned, this behavior is more noticeable if the chapter was downloaded, as the image should have been saved locally.

I have also attempted these when connecting the iPad/iPhone via ethernet, so I believe this is not a speed issue.

it looks like the page images are failing to load, and the site recovers by loading from a backup cdn. unfortunately, due to the limitations of the aidoku source api, I'm not sure if this issue is possible to fix at the moment.
