Update from walnascar to whinlatter

Yocto Whinlatter has been released in December 2025, we should start working on updating to it.

Hey, I just submitted a PR to meta-asteroid (#234) which fixes build failures with GCC 15 and glibc 2.43 on the 2.0 branch. Those same fixes will be needed for whinlatter too. I have been working on building AsteroidOS from source on a rolling release distro and ran into four separate issues (dtc const-correctness, nfcd parallel build race, mesa and virglrenderer C11 threads conflicts with glibc 2.43). All patched and tested with a full emulator image build plus upstream test suites.

I am interested in helping finish the whinlatter upgrade. I see beroset has been doing great work on it already with the draft PRs. What recipes are still failing? Happy to pick some up and contribute fixes. I have been digging into the Yocto 5.3 migration guide and the WORKDIR/S changes so I have a decent understanding of what is involved.
