Ethnography

What's the ethnography angle this year? Most MSDSE ethnographers (Charlotte, Stewart, Laura) will not be able to attend due to a conference conflict. Is @brittafiore interested perhaps?

Also, Anne (or Anna?) Jefferson from ADT, the consulting company doing evaluation of MSDSE, was interested. Of course, that would be more "evaluation" than "ethnography"; its unclear whether we want to actively pursue that.

Abt not ADT? I think if Abt wants to be there, that's good, but that we should also seek an ethnographer if we can. Let's start with @brittafiore and go from there.

Hi all, I was really hoping to be able to make it this year, but unfortunately I'm not going to be able to do that week:( That said I am hoping I can send a student to do some ethnographic work for the week. I am looking into that now and will let you know where I get to on that front. It would be great to also have a Berkeley student.
Also I think it would be great to have Abt there, and in particular, Anna. And we can potentially coordinate across evaluation and ethnography in productive ways. Sad to not be able to join you, but I hope to stay in conversation.
