🚀 DUAL ACTION PLAN: Test + TestFlight Submission

🎯 CURRENT STATUS

✅ PRODUCTION BUILD - READY FOR TESTFLIGHT

  • File: Meetopia-v1.0.1-FINAL.ipa (10.1 MB)
  • Status: Production-ready, all Apple issues fixed
  • Location: /MeetopiaExpoApp/Meetopia-v1.0.1-FINAL.ipa

🔧 DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT - FIXING NOW

  • Scheduler dependency: ✅ INSTALLED
  • React Native: ✅ REINSTALLED with Expo compatibility
  • Expo tunnel mode: ✅ STARTING (should fix device connection)

🎯 IMMEDIATE DUAL ACTION PLAN

PART 1: SUBMIT TO TESTFLIGHT (DO RIGHT NOW - 15 minutes)

You don't need to test first! Your production build is separate and ready.

Step 1: Upload IPA to TestFlight

  1. Open Transporter app (download from Mac App Store if needed)
  2. Sign in with your Apple Developer account
  3. Drag and drop Meetopia-v1.0.1-FINAL.ipa into Transporter
  4. Click "Deliver" and wait for upload completion
  5. Confirm success - "Package delivered successfully"

Step 2: Submit for Apple Review

  1. Go to App Store Connect (appstoreconnect.apple.com)
  2. Select "Meetopia" from your apps
  3. Go to TestFlight tab
  4. Select build 1.0.1 (Build 2)
  5. Click "Submit for Review"
  6. Fill required info:
    • Export Compliance: No
    • Content Rights: You own all content
    • Advertising Identifier: No

PART 2: TEST DEVELOPMENT VERSION (PARALLEL)

While TestFlight processes, test your development build

Check if Expo is working now:

  1. Look for this in terminal: "Metro waiting on exp://..."
  2. Open Expo Go app on your iPhone
  3. Scan QR code or enter URL manually
  4. Test app functionality in development mode

If still not working:

# Try these commands one by one:
cd MeetopiaExpoApp
npx expo start --ios --clear --localhost
# OR
npx expo run:ios

🔥 WHY THIS APPROACH WORKS

Production vs Development are SEPARATE

  • Production IPA: Built on Expo's clean cloud servers ✅ READY
  • Development environment: Your local machine (we're fixing this)
  • They don't affect each other!

TestFlight Timeline

  • Upload: 5-10 minutes
  • Processing: 10-30 minutes
  • Apple Review: 24-48 hours
  • Result: Very high confidence for approval
