[Bug]: There is no button in the settings when Extra Sounds is installed

Thanks for the bug report!

I'm not presently backdating fixes to older versions, because I don't have the availability and the mod has progressed a fair amount. I did look into the mod and unfortunately they haven't updated past 1.21.4, so I can't replicate the issue on a newer version yet. I'll keep this issue open though so that I can check back in on it later!

In the meantime, the configs are still all available through ModMenu. That button was just a helpful little add-on to make it more accessible 🙂

I'm not presently backdating fixes to older versions, because I don't have the availability and the mod has progressed a fair amount. I do not think that the issue should be closed, since initially the issue states that the ExtraSounds Next and Sound Controller are incompatible. The page you are referring to is a fork of the original ExtraSounds. The issue has not been fixed in either Sound Controller or ExtraSound Next. In addition, this fork may be abandoned soon, as the author says on his github page.
So the issue should be closed only in two cases: either Sound Controller or ExtraSounds Next will fix this issue on their side, or ExtraSounds Next will be archived/abandoned and the lonefelidae16 fork of Extra Sounds will become official

Not to worry, it won't be closed until either I or the official mod are updated.

There's a fork currently open which I believe fixes a mistake on my end with mixins, which I'll review when I next get a chance. I suspect it will result in overlapping buttons though, so we shall see.

well extra sounds next havnt updated for over 7 months
the fork I mentioned regularly get updated cause the developer make it for himself
I talked to him and he keep updating it for longer and even 1.21.9 and 1.21.10 updated available on the action tab for you to download
and there is no "official" per say extra sound mod out there, even extra sound next is a fork just like the one I mentioned
the fork I mentioned also has solved so many bugs from official mod and even issues that extra sound next have and will be having by getting update to newer versions
Anyway your point is also fair but I dont think extra sound next get update any time soon

I'll at least be keeping it open until I have fixed anything on my end. If it's still broken due to issues in the original Extra Sounds mod then there's little I can do, so I would close it at that stage.
