Reading data from the CURR1678 current sensor — is it possible?

This is a question, not a bug report.
I have a current sensor compatible with the CURR1678. I wanted to use your library to read data from this sensor.
I found the example SBUS2_Read_Telemetry.ino — I assume this code could be used to read data from the current sensor.
Is that actually possible? If yes, how should I connect the sensor (GND, Signal) to the ESP32 board (GND, Rx, Tx)?

So I found this example among the files: SBUS2_Simulation.ino
It should do what I need.
However, when I run it (ESP32-WROOM), I should see 25-byte data blocks on GPIO26, with the last byte changing.
But there’s nothing on the GPIO (I’m checking with a logic analyzer).
Could you please advise where the problem might be?

Hi,

it depends, what you want to do.
So you have a CURR1678 Sensor (or 3rd party) and you want to read it?
With or without Fasstest Receiver?

With Receiver -> use "Read Telemetry" Example -> Receiver is requesting Sensor data and ESP just read it
Without Receiver -> use "Simulation" Example -> ESP is requesting and reading.

And yes, you shoud see SBUS Data on IO26. Maybe wrong pin?
