Amending a provenance record

@vkuznet Following up on #34, is there a way to amend a provenance record, either via the CLI or on the web interface? I couldn’t find any mention of editing or amending provenance records in the documentation or help menu.

@jpk96 , the provenance information is stored differently, into relational database. As such a single record is represented in different tables with foreign-key relationships. Even though technically it is possible I would resist going this route. There are so many relationships in place, like os to environments, files to dataset, files to environments, etc. I do not plan to add CLI or web UI for that because it literally require. I'm afraid changes should be made directly on database level. Due to many relationships a common tool can be very complex to implement and it is easier to do this at database level.

That said, I would like to hear why you are asking to do that and which use case do you foresee.
