When updating Portmaster it no longer opens

When I went into Portmaster, and it asked to update, I updated it, and now it won’t open. It opens, then quits and doesn’t open again.

Hi, postmaster don't give us support even the query that we give to them. The solution is to erase portmaster folder on your SD card and put a fresh install of it from the downloaded OS. Never upgrade or port master will never boot up again

Hi! How to prevent PortMaster from auto-updating? I install the fresh build of the OS on an SD card including the DAY3 package, enable WIFI, and launch PortMaster from Apps. It prompts for an update, I press B to cancel, and it still prints in the log: PortMaster: auto-update. After that, it fails to launch. I tried several times starting from scratch.
