Scroll buttons cause unpredictable jumps

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the plugin. I believe I have all the right CSS in place, as the list looks to be formatted correctly. However, after I add enough items to overflow the list, the scroll buttons jump by halves a few times, then jump to the first or last element rather unpredictably.

I don't understand the code in the click events well enough to offer a patch myself.

Do you have any advice, or something I can do to help you debug my problem?
