Locales / keyboard layout support (german)?

Hey, I am using PETTERM 0.5.0 with a CBM8032-SK with german keyboard layout and the depending german char ROM. Is ist possible to configure or prepare PETTERM to use the german layout to have things like "Z,Y", or ":" and "=" on the right place ?

Yes it's certainly possible! I haven't had too much time to work on this recently but if you want to mess with it you can change the keyboard scantables in kbs.s, specifically KBDMATRIX and KBDMATRIX_SHIFT. These correspond to what the keys do without shift held and with shift held respectively. Most likely you can compare an image of the two layouts and just replace the letters where they appear as I suspect the matrix is the same hardware wise.

In my pull request a few years ago I changed the keyboard handling to support multiple keyboard types, in theory you could add the german cbm8032-sk layout the same way.
