There is an option to reset the timer, but there is no option to take a break for some time and continue studying

Proposed Improvement

Add a break and continue button with functioning features

Expected Result

The break button would pause the timer and the continue button will continue it

Hi, I'm contributing under GSSoC'26 and would like to work on this issue. After looking at the code, I found that the pause/resume logic already exists in app.js but the UX doesn't communicate it clearly to users.
This is a frontend-only change across index.html, js/app.js, and css/index.css and no backend modifications are required,

I understand that the timer currently only supports reset functionality and lacks a break/pause feature. I would like to implement a Break button to pause the timer and a Continue button to resume the study session smoothly, while ensuring proper state handling and user experience.
