Mephisto ESB 6000

I would like to use your implementation with my Mephisto ESB 6000 Board. Do you know if the Connector of the ESB Board works similar as the Exclusiv board? I cannot find any documentation for my old Mephisto board.

I don't have detailled information about how to control an old ESB 6000 board. I will reach out to a person who might know more.
Alternatively you could reverse engineer the schematic by looking at the PCB and its components.

Okay, the person I know could not help. The only solution I see is to reverse engineer the ESB 6000 or to find a schematic either of the Brikett or the ESB 6000.

Oh, I just found a manual describing the Brikett and ESB 6000. Since the connector is 16 pin, I could imagine that just connecting the right cables from my module to the 16 pin connector could work.

Great, that sounds good. Where did you find the documentation? Can you please send me the link. The brikett is connected to the ESB board via a 16-pin ribbon cable, and a glance at the board suggests that the order of your connections might even be correct. I'm certain about the power supply and D0-D7. For LDC_EN, CB_EN, ROW_LE, and LDC_EN, it's impossible to determine without
documentation. I'll report back on my experiments. Thanks for your support...

The Exclusive Board's schematic you can find when searching for "schematic mephisto exclusive" in google. Page 28 was the one which made me understand how to connect and control the board. If you somehow could track LDC_EN, CB_EN, ROW_LE, and LDC_EN to the three latches of your ESB board, you should be able to find out where to connect these 4 signals in your connector. Also you can see that both VCC and GND are connected to two pins of the connector each. This would make a perfect fit for the 16-pin connector of the ESB board. Please let me know how this works out for you.
