Bug Report: pressing c or v on character editor while making makes a sound

while i was making a character and typed c or v makes a sound i think it only for copy and paste sound
well i dont have a image for it cuz it didnt crash

Could you please elaborate? From what I'm understanding here, it could very well be that you are also pressing the control key while pressing either of those keys.

im not pressing control its just makes a sound when you press the c or v

Hm... I've tested the commit you're talking about, and I don't see this replicated in a rather barebones Codename environment of mine. Do you have any addons installed, or do you have changes to the character editor being applied? In the case of the former, you'll need to check which one is causing the issue.

I've been experiencing the reported issue as well, but since i don't see it elaborated here, it only happens when typing in a textfield (all 3 editors). hopefully this helps

Ah, thanks for clarifying! I'm able to get the error on my end now when typing into a text field.

That's an interesting bug for certain. Looking at the source code for the text box, it seems to be that the game checks for the control key to be pressed only after playing each sound. This appears to apply to a couple of other keys as well, such as the X key. I'll see if I can get a fix in.
