[STATUS] M365SAT Free Version Roadmap

Dear M365SAT Users,

CompliantSec will release a 'free-limited' version which will include the following:

• All scans of v3.x.x of both the M365 and AZURE suite
• Limited scans of the v4.0.0 of both the M365 and AZURE suite

CompliantSec will also provide the following

• Custom Benchmarks to be implemented / created by CompliantSec based on your needs
• Support like you are used to get on the M365SAT engine for free users and premium support on the inspectors for paid users.

The roadmap of the 2nd Quarter is as followed:

(End of) April 2025:

• Release of the free limited scan inspectors
• Development of the v4.0.0 Azure inspectors

May 2025:

• Available for purchase: Azure v4.0.0 Inspectors
• Release of the new licensing information and costs

June 2025:

• Bugfixing and optimization of the code
• Release of the new converted v3.x.x and earlier CIS inspectors for public release
• Implementation of the CISA benchmark

Hopefully this will give you more insights on what M365SAT really wants to do!

Little Update on this: Starting from April 1st if anything goes well the project might be resumed. I will try to implement the other CIS benchmarks until version 6.0.1 (Latest). I will only implement the latest major version of each previous version. I apologize for the inconvenience, but if a separate request for a different framework or version is needed, please open an issue with the label enhancement. Thank you for your cooperation.
