Mod just simply stops playing sounds

I've been playing with this mod for a while. I love the sounds it makes. It's been working just fine for quite a while, and then it just stopped working a few days ago. A few days ago, it just stopped working. It stopped playing sounds. I can't get it to come back. I tried reinstalling. I tried restarting my game. I tried visiting the config menu. The debug clearly shows that nothing is playing. I even turned the music off. It just doesn't play sounds anymore.

So if you use /ambient-debug nothing is visible?

Have you tweaked the sound sliders? Maybe you disabled the mod in the config (you can try to delete your config file).

I've got a similar issue, but it's tied to height. The map I'm using was built in a way that ground level is too low (?) for ambient sounds.

Is there a setting for height I'm unaware of?

Yes, I've turned on debug, and I see the mod's details, but it never plays a sound or detects any sounds. I never really turned anything off or messed with the config.

@PlutoidRepublic so if you use /ambient-debug you do not see anything? Maybe the config got corrupted somehow? Can you use the command /cmdclientconfig and check if the overall more than zero?
