Introducing announcements for Scratch Addons Time Machine

Now you can get updates whenever a new version of Scratch Addons is added to the archive. I'll post here shortly after any new version becomes available to select.

SA v1.5.1 is now in Scratch Addons Time Machine

This version of Scratch Addons added the Onion Skinning addon and introduced the "New" badge to highlight the addons new to the installed release version. It also added a "Help Translate" link to the settings page. Language support in subsequent versions grew rapidly.

Past versions

Since I haven't previously talked about versions of Scratch Addons prior to v1.5.1, I will summarize them below.

• v1.4.0 added many new addons, notably Website Dark Mode, and in this version the extension became localized, supporting a total of 5 languages. The side panel in the settings page also became collapsible.
• v1.3.0 added a few addons, including Pause Button, as well as the More Settings dialog menu.
• v1.2.1 added a light/dark toggle to the settings page, plus addons like Customizable Block Colors.
• v1.1.1 added the Cloud Games popup, a widget that listed activity in a selection of multiplayer games shared on Scratch.
• v1.0.0 was the first release version of Scratch Addons. It was the successor to the Scratch Messaging Extension, inheriting its messaging UI while introducing addons—optional features that could be customized through the first-ever addon settings page.
