CAN' REMAP MAKEY MAKEY v1.6

Hello,
I need your help!
I recently bought a Makey Makey KIT-14478 and I’ cann’t remap it!

I tried the official page of makey makey (but I could not remap because it is not the v1.2)! I have changed the computer’s OS in a USA English keyboard, but nothing!

I also tried through the Arduino IDE changing some values ​​in the firmware and uploading it to makey makey, but it still does not work because it seems to be made only for the SparkFun version.

I tried what you suggest but I can not reprogram it the MM.

Can you help me please???

Unfortunately, a month ago I got the urge to mess with my MM again, and tried to flash it from my newer computer (Windows 10) and spent a few hours trying to get it to take, and couldn't this time around. That said, it'd been so long since I've messed with anything Arduino at all, if there's any subtle undocumented requirements to getting it to take, I don't have a clue what that would be anymore. I'd hoped that working with Arduino would have gotten simpler over the years, but alas, no luck on that front it seems. I wish you luck, but I'm afraid I haven't got anything more of help for you. :(
