in theory i would have expected PartDesign to take care of this, but maybe i'm wrong and it has to be done by the feature being deleted... |

I tried to find such a property, but I could not find anything similar. Found the preview shape but I don't think it is the right thing. It was a memory pointer I guess. I will have to inspect this better later, since I have some features that I have to replace. |

Hi @DeepSOIC, I’m using PDPattern with a Body feature, but I want to replace it with a new design of the same thing.
Instead of updating the current PDPattern object by changing its properties, I created a new PDPattern after the existing one and then deleted the old one.
However, this is not producing the object as a whole — it only gives me the PDPattern feature itself.
What can I do to fix the design after removing an existing PDPattern and replacing it with another?
