Hi everyone! 👋

We are thrilled to have WinHome selected for GSSOC 2026. This project is a declarative Infrastructure-as-Code tool for Windows, and we have a lot of exciting tasks for you to work
on—ranging from documentation and design to core C# engineering and plugin development.

🚀 How to Get Started

1. Read the Docs: Start with our Contributing Guide (https://github.com/DotDev262/WinHome/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md). It contains setup instructions, our codebase map, and the mandatory
   PR labeling system.
2. Pick an Issue: Check the Issue Board (https://github.com/DotDev262/WinHome/issues). We have issues labeled level:beginner, level:intermediate, and level:advanced.
3. Claiming Issues: To claim an issue, just comment: "I would like to work on this. Please assign it to me." (Wait for a maintainer to assign it before starting work).

🏷️ Mandatory PR Labels (For Points)

To ensure your contribution counts for the GSSOC leaderboard, a maintainer must apply the gssoc:approved label to your PR. We will also apply difficulty and quality labels that determine your final score.
