Data download not working

I'm hoping this might be an easy one to fix, since we've been here before. If you hit the download button on the data search page, you do get an entry in your data download subtab, but it never produces a file. Alas, a user has noticed and mentioned it in the helpdeskmail, so it may be time to prioritize this...

Someone recently contacted Bob about such a problem, Bob had me look at it,
I resolved it. ...When was the helpdesk ticket created?

Anything created before then would still exhibit the same behavior—would
require a re-search and re-download. ...There is also still a problem in
that code (not easy to fix) where errors are not well-reported, so any
error also behaves like that! :(

Hmm... The reporter's hung downloads were created four days ago. http://eol.org/users/99727/data_downloads

Ohhhhhh, now I remember: this is actually a PHP error (I mis-remembered
that I'd fixed it; really I just ran it manually), and it will take me some
time (took about a day last time) to fix this one, and I've been putting it
off. :( I don't want to pick this up right now—other things I want to
accomplish before Monday, but I'll put this on the short-list for Monday.

Cool, I'll watch this ticket for updates; I'm hanging out some data consumers this week. I'll show off the download if possible :)
