Finite iterations

There should be a way to easily compute finite iterations by;

• supplying an initial guess for the decision rule
• recording all intermediate iterations.
  This issue will be closed when:
• the solution object can optionally record an extended trace with all intermediary decision rules
• there is a way to easily specify an initial guess
• it is documented with an example
