Switching Mode to `Expert` Breaks Flow

Upon switching model to Expert, the Upload File, Upload Folder, and other flows on the hero no longer work. They just fail silently. This failure does not occur if Instant is immediately used. I'm using the version on the Chrome WebStore, but this bug also occurs on the one from Firefox. I suspect an update from Deepseek caused this regression, not anything on our end.

It looks like DeepSeek has removed file upload from Expert mode. They actually did the same thing right before the DeepSeek v4 release, but it came back after a few days. damn, i had the same problem, is there a fast way to circumvent this? upload files like repomix or pdfs? i tried many things, but not even hovering it to the chat works, the only thing would be to copy and paste raw text
