Summary

Please consider adding support for importing and syncing chat history from major Chinese communication platforms, especially WeChat, WeCom/WeChat Work, and Feishu/Lark.

Why this matters

OpenHuman is very promising as a personal AI memory layer, but many users in China do not primarily use Gmail, Slack, Google Calendar, or similar Western productivity tools. Their daily work context often lives in:

  • WeChat personal chats and group chats
  • WeCom / WeChat Work enterprise conversations
  • Feishu / Lark direct messages, group chats, docs, meetings, and task discussions

Without support for these sources, OpenHuman cannot fully capture the real working memory of users in China or Chinese-speaking teams.

Suggested capabilities

A practical integration could include:

  • Import chat history from exported files where official APIs are limited
  • Sync Feishu/Lark messages, docs, and meeting-related context through official APIs
  • Support WeCom / WeChat Work conversation archives where enterprise permissions allow it
  • Allow users to select specific contacts, groups, or date ranges instead of importing everything
  • Convert conversations into Memory Tree entries with source metadata, timestamps, participants, and links back to the original platform where possible
  • Provide privacy controls to exclude sensitive chats, redact personal data, and keep all processed memory local by default

Environment and user scenario

Typical user environment:

  • Windows desktop
  • Mainland China network environment
  • Daily work communication through WeChat, WeCom, and Feishu/Lark
  • Need to preserve work context for reports, meeting preparation, project follow-up, task tracking, and personal AI memory

Expected outcome

With these integrations, OpenHuman would become much more useful for Chinese users and teams. It could serve as a local-first memory layer for real workplace conversations, not only for Western SaaS ecosystems.

Thank you for considering this request.
