This currently depends on a local checkout of the repo. I clarified the relevant documentation in PR #2

Would you want to support one of these at some point?

• Maintain a MELPA recipe that includes those files
• Package it for NonGNU ELPA / GNU ELPA as a multi-file package

This might be premature so if you're not interested or would want to wait until later feel free to close this issue. I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
