when installing the silabs drivers, the permission for the installer is buried in the settings here

THE_PROBLEM: its a moving target. changes with OS.

The ISSUE: The silabs driver installer is supposed to open the correct settings dialog, but sometimes it silently fails, That results in the permission not being asked/granted and the user may not be able to install the driver, yet proceed to install the firmware, which will fail.
