can you support remove the section of the function also from resources: extensions

Hi,
can you please support removing the section of the function also from the resources:
extensions.

Some of the things for the function can be overwritten in the section of the resources:
extensions and if i use the plugin to deploy only at stage the deploy process fail if i have thing also in the extensions cause it tries to find the corresponding function in all stage
