Is there any new Kryo release version planned?

The latest release version was published in October 2024, which is already more than a year ago. Is there any plan to release the latest version?

Yes, I'm planning to release 5.7 sometime soon.

Are you waiting for anything specific? There hasn't been a new release because most of the changes on main have been dependency upgrades and documentation changes etc.

Is a patch release (5.6.3) planned that would include updated dependencies such as objenesis 3.5? Alternatively, could you confirm whether objenesis 3.5 is compatible with Kryo 5.6.2?

Yes, I'm planning on doing a patch release, but I can't give you a timeline.

Kryo 5.6.2 is compatible with Objenesis 3.5. I've been using it in production for a while.
