Essentials Update Messages

Is there a way to not show new development builds, and only new major builds of Essentials? Every time I join my server I get a wall of text saying there is some new development build of Essentials. I am not using development builds I am specifically using stable release. I would like to know when a new stable version releases, but it will be hard to know that when I get bombarded with dev builds every time I join.

Essx only says that if you're on dev builds. Mind showing /ess ver?

I use build versions, but I have the same problem, it asks me to update even though I did.

Your issue is different to the one they were describing. What you're experiencing is a known issue and is generally caused by failing builds. It should be fixed on its own soon
