+We are deepening our efforts to develop artificial intelligence-based decision support systems (Researcher: Haluk Bayram) in the field of environmental engineering (Principal Investigator: Elif Soyer). With this project, the multi-purpose use of solid-liquid separation units in large-scale treatment plants will not only be investigated by classical experimental methods, but also it is aimed to obtain the closest results to these plants by applying process control and machine learning methods on a pilot plant to be installed and continuously operated in one of the large-scale treatment plants in Istanbul.</p>
