I bought a new 2560x1440 monitor without even realising it wouldn't work on my Mac Mini (2010). Max I could get was 1920x1080. I applied the pixel clock patch yesterday and hey presto, it worked like a charm. Then I did something and now it won't find a signal from the display port. I have to link with HDMI and it's back to 1920x1080 again. (This version of Mac Mini seems to allow for better resolution through DP than HDMI)
The only thing I can remember doing wrong is I didn't read the small print, where it says you have to keep SIP disabled after patching. I re-enabled it before I realised. Could that be the problem? And is there any way to go back to Square One and start again?
Thanks in advance for any tips
