Thermoengine is needed for running LavAtmos. I have cloned this repo from the ENKI-Portal GitLab, so that we have control over it.
We need to change the install scripts so that they are workable on both Linux and MacOS, ideally without having to use Docker. It is best to avoid docker here, because this simply adds more things for the user to install.
For Ubuntu, we can adopt these instructions: https://github.com/FormingWorlds/ThermoEngine/blob/main/Cluster/Dockerfile
