Growver System Workflow

1. System Initialization

  • User presses power button to turn on the entire system
  • Initialize:
    • Motors
    • RC controller
    • Sensors

2. Manual Driving Mode

  • User can control Growver via RC controller:

    • Move forward
    • Move backward
    • Turn left
    • Turn right

3. Planting Sequence

3.1 Trigger

  • User presses planting button
  • Driving is disabled

3.2 Digging Sequence

  1. Linear actuator extends downward
  2. Actuator hits ground → pressure sensor triggers interrupt
  3. Interrupt stops actuator motion
  4. Auger motor turns on
  5. Linear actuator continues downward
  6. Both auger and actuator stop at target depth
  7. Linear actuator retracts upward

3.3 Position Adjustment

  • Growver moves forward a fixed distance
  • Aligns system over the dug hole

3.4 Plant Dispensing

  • Stepper motor rotates
  • Positions next plant over funnel
  • Plant drops into hole

3.5 Soil Replenishment

  1. Servo activates to release soil
  2. Linear actuator moves downward to pack soil
  3. Actuator retracts back upward

4. Completion

  • Planting sequence ends
  • System returns to idle or awaits next input
