FW V3.12A PAL/NTSC video standard changing bug report #47

Yesterday when I installed version V3.12A, to test on C64 games in my personal collection that use Cyber Load (as V3.12 crashed on the tape loader). This fixed the problem, however, I have noticed a new major bug on the board revision V1.2 of my Ultimate 64. Although there is a workaround through it.

Basically the issue is based on switching the settings from the default setting (NTSC) to PAL (and possibly swapping other video settings). When I enter the configuration menu to change from NTSC to PAL. Instead of getting the updated screen setting and a pop up box asking to save to flash prompt. The screen goes completely black with nothing happening. However if I press "Return" on my C64 keyboard and re-boot the Ultimate 64, the setting is saved and the NTSC screen has successfully changed to PAL. Do you think that an emergency firmware V3.12B could be made to fix this major issue, in order to help save other people assuming their U64s have been bricked with the firmware, where apparently nothing is bricked? The Ultimate 64 is still operable. So it is more or less not bricked, and I have no issues with other settings at the moment.
