I've got the Ultimate 64 Elite-II and installed the SID from my breadbox 64, it's my original 6581 that was in an original rev2 kernel machine, however I'm getting SID Detected Socket 1 None.
I read that a PD brick is required to power the SID and am using a 65W PD Brick that was powering my laptop - I'm not sure if it's suppling 12v properly, supplying 5v or if my SID is somehow bad or not installed correctly.
Is there a voltage diagnostic somewhere?
How can I confirm?
I'm going to probably pull the trigger and order one of the bricks in the quickstart guide, but before I do - what can I do here to confirm what my issue may be.
