Microsoft Sign-in Issue

I have had a history of trying to sign into the MS platform. When I try to sign-in, the message I get back relates to an email address that I do not recognise oc*****@malnesia.com (see below image). This is a very annoying event. I then have to go through a very protracted way of proving who I am, and it always ends up with MS not recognising my sign-in details.
To my knowledge I have never used malnesia.com for anything. Please can you help.

Could be a sign that your account got hacked. Don't you have any other way of signing in, like an authenticator app or recovery code? I don't provide support on individual mailboxes. One reason is that I have no way of knowing whether you are the legitimate owner of that MS account, or a scammer wanting to get into someone's account.

Hi. Tx for the reply. Mailnesia was an email company when I signed up to BT in 2006. I'm not bright enough to try to be an imposter, but I see your point.
