centroid_only = false error for a particular GeoTIFF dataset

When ingesting this cropland dataset https://developers.google.com/earth-engine/datasets/catalog/USDA_NASS_CDL?hl=en#citations: if I set the centroid_only parameter to false, I get the following error:
Failed 'Error while reading data, error message: JSON table encountered too many errors, giving up. Rows: 319; errors: 1. Please look into the errors[] collection for more details.'
reason: 'invalid'> [while running 'WriteToBigQuery/BigQueryBatchFileLoads/WaitForDestinationLoadJobs-ptransform-31'
