yep, looks like nothing to resolve just take the filecode and rebuild the url and it works

For this case yes but maybe there are other cases where is not that simple, or they might change it. So is better to resolve using that base64 decodeplayload string

The problem is the Cloudflare challenge thrown when accessing the embed page in Python urllib,request module regardles of the UA used

Where you are testing?

Using it on home ip or a residential ip no cf problem...

Cf is triggered if vpn, proxy or known public host ip are being used

Also why you don't consider adding support for flaresolverr for this cases(if cf detectwd route the request to flaresolverr and get back the result).

I just run it out of my home IP. Never used VPN, works fine in commandline curl so IP address is not the issue. Issue is when called in Python urllib.request module, it triggers cloudflare finger-printing and blocked regardless of UA used as CF finger-printing is based on the TLS library that python uses.

As I have said before, ResolveURL is pure-python project and hence will never add non python solutions such as flaresolverr (node.js)

Look, I had also this problem, on my addon I am using whixh is typescript by the way, but what solved for me was to route the request to this.

Isn't that pure python? Why in this way works foe ex? Or he is using different python libraries?

Regarding flaresolverr, I am not saying you add other language code to your project, but to add python code that support this type of problem.

For ex there is this addon doing the same

When it detect on the response that there is the cf clearance than routes the request to flare solverr and flaresolverr send it back solved.

Flaresolverr is smth that the client should have installed, not to install feom your addon.

mfp uses external python library aiohttp.
ResolveURL only uses libraries available with standard python. ResolveURL has no external dependencies whatsoever, so not going to add something that is not bundled with base kodi-python.

I just found this new resolver and wanted to let you know. Anyway you decide what is best :).

For my personal usage I found the solution on my addon(typescript) routing the requests to mfp :).
