Recurring Transaction should be recurred by month

for now when I set the recurring frequency as 30days, it really counts as 30days, I hope it can add a new feature as add the recurring transaction per month. Because in reality the recurring payment will be paid on the same date in different month, but not on a 30days frequency

Thank you for the suggestion. The current implementation of recurring expenses is based strictly on day intervals, as defined in the User Guide — “The frequency (f/) specifies the number of days between each recurrence.” For example, f/30 adds each recurrence exactly 30 days after the previous one. This design ensures consistency and predictability, especially for non-monthly intervals (e.g., f/7, f/90), and avoids ambiguity in cases like varying month lengths.

While we recognize the interest in supporting calendar-based recurrence (e.g., "same date every month"), this is a distinct scheduling mode that differs fundamentally from day-based recurrence, and is not part of the current system’s intended functionality.

We will try to implement support for both day-based and calendar-based recurrence options (e.g., /30days vs f/monthly) in future iterations for greater flexibility.
