The UG states that "The program will ignore any extraneous parameters behind bye", which implies that bye extra1 extra2 is still a valid command that will exit the program while ignoring the extras. However, in the test case shown (bye222), the command fails not because it has extraneous parameters, but because bye222 is not a recognised command.

Key Distinction:

• bye extra1 → Valid: starts with bye and ignores the rest
• bye222 → Invalid: bye222 is not recognised as a valid command at all

bye222 is interpreted as a single command string, not bye followed by parameters.
The command parser likely checks for exact keywords. Since bye222 ≠ bye, it returns an error.
