Editor Freezes and Crashes Codewhale

Description

At some point the editor stopped working on Codewhale. It now freezes the entire application and the entire process must be killed to recover.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Codewhale
2. Type the letter 'd' to put the Composer into 'draft' mode.
3. Ctrl-O: This opens the editor.

Vim opens. The editor is in "Replace" mode. The editor doesn't respond to key presses. You can't escape out of it. You can't even Ctrl-C. It seems to be some sort of fundamental deadlock where the input events are no longer being consumed.

This issue is staying open for maintainer triage. CodeWhale gets better because people bring us real edge cases from real machines, providers, regions, and workflows.

If you can add a reproduction, logs, version output, screenshots, or the provider/model involved, that makes it much easier for us to verify and harvest the fix. Maintainers may comment /lgtmi to mark recurring issue reporters as approved so this intake note is skipped next time.

Thanks again @buko for the precise repro. I opened #3659 with a focused fix for the Ctrl-O external editor handoff: CodeWhale now fully unwinds the TUI terminal modes before launching the editor, then restores them through the shared recovery path afterward.\n\nI left this issue open on purpose so we can retest the exact Windows 10 + mintty/cygwin bash + Vim path once the PR is through CI.

Correction with the commit SHA preserved: landed #3659 as 32637c6b. The Ctrl-O external editor path now fully suspends CodeWhale terminal modes before launching the editor, including direct PTY-friendly mouse reset bytes for Windows/mintty-style terminals, then restores through the shared terminal recovery path.

Thanks again @buko for the exact Windows 10 + mintty/cygwin bash + Vim repro. I am leaving this open until that environment can retest a build containing 32637c6b; please comment here if Vim still opens in Replace mode or stops consuming input.
