Having this repo is confusing a great many people (myself included). The stats on npmjs unfortunately are not 'case specific', so the download stats for these two are the same...

Even though the second repo is bogus (old). But because of the huge daily download number, people think that the 'jQuery' repo is the correct one. Also very confusing that the examples on the https://www.npmjs.com/package/jQuery readme don't work. (still don't work if require('jquery') instead of require('jQuery') ). It is really confusing having these two things out there.
