That is pretty wild, like the crash detect timer or event handler executed twice somehow.

I'm thinking this is somehow related to #202 since all the messages appear at once.

The thread holding the lock got killed and the other waiting threads went ape causing that strange effect.

I'm willing to bet 7.7.1 fixes this but it will be difficult to tell as it should be a pretty rare occurrence to begin with.
