The LetsEncrypt tutorial does not work because it is missing the Rust compiler

Describe the bug
I am following the instructions from Lets Encrypt and I get to the point to install certbot with this command it is failing saying no Rust compiler.

/opt/certbot/bin/pip install certbot

To Reproduce
Follow tutorial.

Expected behavior
pip install certbot installs.

Unfortunately, until we have Rust available there is no workaround for getting certbot installed. Luckily, there are a variety of ACME clients other than certbot: https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/#other-client-options
