I am currently using CFD methods to simulate the fully coupled aero-hydrodynamic analysis of a semi-submersible IEA 22MW wind turbine. The total mass of the wind turbine I am using is 23,984,100 kg, and center of mass(CM)of IEA 22MW wind turbine is 0.2 m above the sea water level (SWL). The moment of inertia values are as follows: Ixx = 7.5273 × 10¹⁰ kg·m²(wind turbine roll inertia about CM), Iyy = 7.5045 × 10¹⁰ kg·m²(wind turbine pitch inertia about CM), and Izz = 4.3693 × 10¹⁰ kg·m²(Yaw inertia about wind turbine centerline). I would like to know if these settings are correct. Thank you!
If possible, could you please provide motion response data of the IEA 22MW wind turbine under wind and wave effects?
