This plan should make Alchemist properly-featured.

Quick Alchemy

  • Requires infused reagents
  • Lasts 1 turn if made while turn-based
  • Custom stats and root template to make it priceless, non-stacking, and highlighted as a "story item"
  • Switch to using versatile vials if turn-based
  • Implement all vanilla alchemical items
  • Script unlocks for formulas and tie it to the actions

  • Lv.2 Feats: Demolition Charge (create barrel), Improvise Admixture, Poison Resistance (existing), Revivifying Mutagen (change to use Elixirs), Smoke Bomb†
  • Lv.4 Feats: Efficient Alchemy, Enduring Alchemy, Fermenting Liquors, Regurgitate Mutagen
  • Lv.6 Feats: Fortified Elixir
  • Lv.8 Feats: Alter Admixture
  • Lv.10 Feats: Advanced Efficient Alchemy, Sour Bomb†
  • Lv.12 Feats: Shaped Contaminant (makes Cloudkill), Uncanny Bombs
  • Additives (†): Invigorating Elixir (+Improved, Supreme), Debilitating Bomb (+Greater)
  • Other levels/Homebrew: Mutagenist Field Benefit/Discovery, Miracle Worker (18), unlock all formulas

VFX

  • Add mortar and pestle to Quick Alchemy
  • Shaking vial for quick vial
  • Elemental variants for Bomber field vial
  • Resource icons (versatile vial, daily reagent)
  • Subclass icons
