Phone cancelling WASD when taken out then put away

What happened?

When holding any key from the WASD to move foot or in a vehicle, if you take out your phone then put it away the input from the WASD gets cancelled even when still holding the key.

Expected result

that the input from the WASD stays when taking out the phone and putting it away. Like it used to before the update. to

Reproduction steps

1. Keep holding W (or any movement key) to move forward throughout the whole experiment (Same issue whether on foot or in vehicle)
2. Press Y to take out your phone
3. Press Y again to put your phone away
4. The input from the W key gets cancelled

This wasnt an issue before the update.
